Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The setting sun by Julius Olsson was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2011. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,188.87) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Julius Olsson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Golden Shore in December 2008 with an auction result of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 18,380.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The setting sun von Julius Olsson kam im November 2011 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.188,87) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Julius Olsson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Golden Shore im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 17.500,00 (€ 18.380,09).
