A top price for Julius Olsson - as previously expected
The work The Golden Shore by Julius Olsson was sold in the Victorian & Traditionalist Pictures auction at Christies in London in December 2008. The price achieved of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 18,380.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Golden Shore is the most expensive artwork by Julius Olsson that we have observed at auctions so far.
