Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mirror, circa 1980 by Julio Le Parc was sold in the Prints and Multiples auction at Bonhams in Brussels in December this year. The price achieved of EUR 512.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Julio Le Parc achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Seuil de Perception, Continuel-lumiére-Mobile in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 506,500.00 (€ 388,539.43).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Mirror, circa 1980 von Julio Le Parc wurde im Dezember diesen Jahres in der Auktion Prints and Multiples bei Bonhams in Brüssel versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 512,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Julio Le Parc erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Seuil de Perception, Continuel-lumiére-Mobile im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 506.500,00 (€ 388.539,43).
