In the Modern & Contemporary Art auction, the work Punta Cobadiles At Dusk, 2016 sold for GBP 20,250.00 (€ 23,596.51) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Julio Larraz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bingham at Noon in May 2011 with an auction result of USD 326,500.00 (€ 227,114.64).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Julio Larraz erzielte im Juni 2021 bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Punta Cobadiles At Dusk, 2016 für GBP 20.250,00 (€ 23.596,51) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 10.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Julio Larraz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bingham at Noon im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 326.500,00 (€ 227.114,64).
