This artwork by Julian Stanczak achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in New York in February 2021. In the Geometric AbstractionPrints & Multiples auction, the work Yellow Filtration sold for USD 1,402.50 (€ 1,159.76) - well above the upper estimate of USD 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Julian Stanczak achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Undulating Currents in September 2014 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 98,986.38).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 75 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Julian Stanczak erzielte im Februar 2021 bei Bonhams in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Geometric AbstractionPrints & Multiples wurde die Arbeit Yellow Filtration für USD 1.402,50 (€ 1.159,76) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Julian Stanczak erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Undulating Currents im September 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 98.986,38).
