This work without title by Julian Schnabel was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in New York in March this year. The »bidding war« ended at USD 139,700.00 (€ 128,495.22), 75% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Julian Schnabel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ethnic Type #14 in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 1,452,500.00 (€ 1,220,793.41).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Julian Schnabel wurde im März diesen Jahres in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 139.700,00 (€ 128.495,22) und damit 75% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Julian Schnabel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ethnic Type #14 im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.452.500,00 (€ 1.220.793,41).
