Sold at the lower estimate price
In May 2010 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Sale, which included this untitled work by Juan Soriano. The result of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,084.73) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Juan Soriano achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Apolo y las musas in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 250,000.00 (€ 210,119.35).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Mai 2010 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Sale durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Juan Soriano zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.084,73) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Juan Soriano erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Apolo y las musas im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 250.000,00 (€ 210.119,35).
