Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2014 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Contemporary, which included the work Untitled, 2003 by Juan Pedro Fabra Guemberena. Here, the upper estimate of SEK 25,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for SEK 26,000.00 (€ 2,849.71). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Juan Pedro Fabra Guemberena - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "True Colours", which sold at auction in May 2011 for SEK 58,000.00 (€ 6,527.82).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2014 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Contemporary durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled, 2003 von Juan Pedro Fabra Guemberena zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von SEK 25.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für SEK 26.000,00 (€ 2.849,71) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Juan Pedro Fabra Guemberena mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "True Colours" beobachtet, die im Mai 2011 für SEK 58.000,00 (€ 6.527,82) versteigert wurde.
