Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Masters Evening Sale, which included the work A pair of floral still lifes, in lapis and bronze vases on stone plinths by Juan de Arellano. The price achieved of GBP 151,200.00 (€ 177,313.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Admittedly, works by Juan de Arellano have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Pair Of Still Lifes Of Roses, Variegated Tulips, Peonies And Other Flowers In Crystal Vases, On Stone Plinths in July 2017 with an auction result of GBP 668,750.00 (€ 746,222.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Masters Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit A pair of floral still lifes, in lapis and bronze vases on stone plinths von Juan de Arellano zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 151.200,00 (€ 177.313,35) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 120.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Juan de Arellano auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Pair Of Still Lifes Of Roses, Variegated Tulips, Peonies And Other Flowers In Crystal Vases, On Stone Plinths im Juli 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 668.750,00 (€ 746.222,31).
