Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still life of flowers, including tulips, iris and narcissi, in a glass vase by Juan de Arellano was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 50,400.00 (€ 59,104.45) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Juan de Arellano achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Pair Of Still Lifes Of Roses, Variegated Tulips, Peonies And Other Flowers In Crystal Vases, On Stone Plinths in July 2017 with an auction result of GBP 668,750.00 (€ 746,222.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Still life of flowers, including tulips, iris and narcissi, in a glass vase von Juan de Arellano kam im Juli 2021 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 50.400,00 (€ 59.104,45) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Juan de Arellano erzielen.
