Auction result misses estimated price range

This work of art by Juan de Arellano could be acquired at Sothebys in London in December 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Masters Day Sale auction, the work A Swag Of Flowers Fastened With Blue Ribbons changed hands for GBP 47,500.00 (€ 52,919.21) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Juan de Arellano achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Pair Of Still Lifes Of Roses, Variegated Tulips, Peonies And Other Flowers In Crystal Vases, On Stone Plinths in July 2017 with an auction result of GBP 668,750.00 (€ 746,222.31).

Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne

Dieses Kunstwerk von Juan de Arellano konnte im Dezember 2018 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Old Masters Day Sale wechselte die Arbeit A Swag Of Flowers Fastened With Blue Ribbons für GBP 47.500,00 (€ 52.919,21) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 50.000,00 – 70.000,00.
