The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 43,750.00 (€ 49,053.37) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Juan de Arellano achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Pair Of Still Lifes Of Roses, Variegated Tulips, Peonies And Other Flowers In Crystal Vases, On Stone Plinths in July 2017 with an auction result of GBP 668,750.00 (€ 746,222.31).
