The work FLowers and Rocks, 1897, 1871 by Ju Lian was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in September this year. It achieved a price of USD 6,400.00 (€ 6,046.86), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 28%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ju Lian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Legends Of Flowers in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 7,375,000.00 (€ 808,030.41).

Die Arbeit FLowers and Rocks, 1897, 1871 von Ju Lian wurde im September diesen Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 6.400,00 (€ 6.046,86) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 28%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ju Lian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Legends Of Flowers im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 7.375.000,00 (€ 808.030,41).
