Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Butterfly And Orchid by Ju Lian was auctioned at POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong in April this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 12,000.00 (€ 12,254.35) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ju Lian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Legends Of Flowers in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 7,375,000.00 (€ 808,030.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Butterfly And Orchid von Ju Lian kam im April diesen Jahres bei POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 12.000,00 (€ 12.254,35) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ju Lian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Legends Of Flowers im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 7.375.000,00 (€ 808.030,41).
