Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by JPW 3 was auctioned at Phillips in London in December 2015. The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 3,394.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by JPW 3 - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 9, which sold at auction in April 2017 for GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,875.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von JPW 3 kam im Dezember 2015 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 3.394,88) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von JPW 3 mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit 9 beobachtet, die im April 2017 für GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.875,17) versteigert wurde.
