Auction result well in line with expectations
In June last year Artcurial in Paris held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work Sans Titre - 1996 by Joyce Pensato. It changed hands for a price of EUR 39,360.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Joyce Pensato have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sunset Batman in December 2020 with an auction result of HKD 2,250,000.00 (€ 237,326.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni letzten Jahres führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans Titre - 1996 von Joyce Pensato zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 39.360,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Joyce Pensato auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sunset Batman im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.250.000,00 (€ 237.326,25).
