In January 2008 Christies in New York held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Homage To Ceres by Joshua Cristall. The »bidding war« ended at USD 437.50 (€ 294.79), 46% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joshua Cristall achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Barking timber in July 2012 with an auction result of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 10,349.07).

Im Januar 2008 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Homage To Ceres von Joshua Cristall zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 437,50 (€ 294,79) und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joshua Cristall erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Barking timber im Juli 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 10.349,07).
