In the CALIFORNIA, WESTERN AND AMERICAN PAINTINGS auction, the work Old Laguna (Foot of Anita Street) sold for USD 57,360.00 (€ 57,752.72) - well above the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Joseph Kleitsch have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Park Avenue, Old Laguna in November 2001 with an auction result of USD 336,000.00 (€ 375,083.72).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Joseph Kleitsch erzielte im November 2002 bei Christies in Los Angeles einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion CALIFORNIA, WESTERN AND AMERICAN PAINTINGS wurde die Arbeit Old Laguna (Foot of Anita Street) für USD 57.360,00 (€ 57.752,72) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Joseph Kleitsch auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Park Avenue, Old Laguna im November 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 336.000,00 (€ 375.083,72).
