Here, the upper estimate of USD 2,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 2,750.00 (€ 2,463.72). Other works by Joseph Pennell have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 2,232.50 (€ 2,578.54) in February 2002 for the work New York from Brooklyn; and The City in 1915 (Wuerth 671; and 679).
