This artwork by Joseph Inguimberty achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2019. In the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art auction, the work Les Trois Citrons (The Three Lemons) sold for HKD 625,000.00 (€ 71,143.20) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 250,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joseph Inguimberty achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Hamac (The Hammock) in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 7,540,000.00 (€ 889,989.90).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Joseph Inguimberty erzielte im April 2019 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art wurde die Arbeit Les Trois Citrons (The Three Lemons) für HKD 625.000,00 (€ 71.143,20) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 250.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joseph Inguimberty erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Hamac (The Hammock) im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 7.540.000,00 (€ 889.989,90).
