Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Joseph Inguimberty achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Hong Kong in December last year. In the Southeast Asian Modern & Contemporary Art auction, the work Landscape in the South of France sold for HKD 191,250.00 (€ 22,918.54) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joseph Inguimberty achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Hamac (The Hammock) in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 7,540,000.00 (€ 889,989.90).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Joseph Inguimberty erzielte im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Southeast Asian Modern & Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Landscape in the South of France für HKD 191.250,00 (€ 22.918,54) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 70.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joseph Inguimberty erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Hamac (The Hammock) im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 7.540.000,00 (€ 889.989,90).
