In December last year Bonhams in Hong Kong held the auction Southeast Asian Modern & Contemporary Art, which included the work Vue des vallées by Joseph Inguimberty. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 204,000.00 (€ 24,446.44), 70% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joseph Inguimberty achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Hamac (The Hammock) in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 7,540,000.00 (€ 889,989.90).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 70 % übertroffen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Hong Kong die Auktion Southeast Asian Modern & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Vue des vallées von Joseph Inguimberty zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 204.000,00 (€ 24.446,44) und damit 70% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joseph Inguimberty erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Hamac (The Hammock) im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 7.540.000,00 (€ 889.989,90).
