Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2011 Sothebys in Toronto held the auction Important Canadian Art, which included the work The Bull That Might Have Been by Joseph Hector Yvon Fafard. Here, the upper estimate of CAD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for CAD 8,400.00 (€ 6,031.22). Admittedly, works by Joseph Hector Yvon Fafard have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Inventor And His Invention in November 2011 with an auction result of CAD 48,000.00 (€ 34,980.45).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2011 führte Sothebys in Toronto die Auktion Important Canadian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Bull That Might Have Been von Joseph Hector Yvon Fafard zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von CAD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für CAD 8.400,00 (€ 6.031,22) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Joseph Hector Yvon Fafard auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Inventor And His Invention im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CAD 48.000,00 (€ 34.980,45).
