The price achieved of CAD 7,800.00 (€ 6,095.41) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CAD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Joseph Hector Yvon Fafard have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Inventor And His Invention in November 2011 with an auction result of CAD 48,000.00 (€ 34,980.45).
