The price achieved of CAD 48,000.00 (€ 34,980.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CAD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Inventor And His Invention is the most expensive artwork by Joseph Hector Yvon Fafard that we have observed at auctions so far.
