Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction Modern British and Irish Art, which included the work Fisherman With Basket by Josef Herman. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 3,570.00 (€ 4,106.54). Admittedly, works by Josef Herman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Irish Scene in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 24,000.00 (€ 35,614.79).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern British and Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fisherman With Basket von Josef Herman zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 3.570,00 (€ 4.106,54) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Josef Herman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Irish Scene im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 24.000,00 (€ 35.614,79).
