Auction result misses estimated price range
In August 2010 a collector was able to acquire the work Interior with men by José Villegas for SEK 7,500.00 (€ 801.13). This price was achieved in the auction Eclectic, Stockholm S193 at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 10,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by José Villegas achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spanish Siesta in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 579,000.00 (€ 496,143.96).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im August 2010 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Interior with men von José Villegas für SEK 7.500,00 (€ 801,13) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Eclectic, Stockholm S193 bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 10.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von José Villegas erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Spanish Siesta im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 579.000,00 (€ 496.143,96).
