It achieved a price of GBP 104,500.00 (€ 128,433.87), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 49%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by José Gutiérrez Solana - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Los Ermitaños, which sold at auction in October 2007 for EUR 360,250.00.

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 104.500,00 (€ 128.433,87) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 49%. Für andere Arbeiten von José Gutiérrez Solana mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Los Ermitaños beobachtet, die im Oktober 2007 für EUR 360.250,00 versteigert wurde.
