In December 2016 Sothebys in London held the auction 19th Century European Paintings, which included the work Spanish bodegón De La Coliflor (Still Life With Cauliflower) by José Gutiérrez Solana. The result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 35,074.87) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by José Gutiérrez Solana achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Los Ermitaños in October 2007 with an auction result of EUR 360,250.00.
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Dezember 2016 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 19th Century European Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Spanish bodegón De La Coliflor (Still Life With Cauliflower) von José Gutiérrez Solana zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 35.074,87) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von José Gutiérrez Solana erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Los Ermitaños im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 360.250,00.
