This work without title by José de Guimarães was sold in the Nineteen to Now, incl. Topographical Observations auction at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2012. It achieved a price of EUR 8,125.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 63 %. Admittedly, works by José de Guimarães have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portuguese L'Automobile in December 2007 with an auction result of EUR 45,850.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 63 % übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von José de Guimarães wurde im September 2012 in der Auktion Nineteen to Now, incl. Topographical Observations bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 8.125,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 63 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von José de Guimarães auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portuguese L'Automobile im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 45.850,00.
