The work "Mascara The Cat" by José de Guimarães was sold in the Astra Collection H043 auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in April 2013. The result of SEK 25,000.00 (€ 2,927.55) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 25,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by José de Guimarães achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portuguese L'Automobile in December 2007 with an auction result of EUR 45,850.00.
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit "Mascara The Cat" von José de Guimarães wurde im April 2013 in der Auktion Astra Collection H043 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 25.000,00 (€ 2.927,55) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 25.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von José de Guimarães erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portuguese L'Automobile im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 45.850,00.
