This artwork by Jos Manders achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in April this year. In the 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam auction, the work Exkommunikatie (Excommunication) sold for EUR 1,260.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 700.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jos Manders - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dutch untitled, which sold at auction in June 2010 for EUR 5,000.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Jos Manders erzielte im April diesen Jahres bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam wurde die Arbeit Exkommunikatie (Excommunication) für EUR 1.260,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 700,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jos Manders mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dutch untitled beobachtet, die im Juni 2010 für EUR 5.000,00 versteigert wurde.
