Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled, from Door Cycle by Jorge Pardo for GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,339.70). This price was achieved in the auction Edition Schellmann: Fifty Are Better Than One at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jorge Pardo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2006 with an auction result of USD 72,000.00 (€ 56,105.35).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled, from Door Cycle von Jorge Pardo für GBP 4.750,00 (€ 5.339,70) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Edition Schellmann: Fifty Are Better Than One bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jorge Pardo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 72.000,00 (€ 56.105,35).
