It achieved a price of GBP 1,125.00 (€ 1,301.18), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 41%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jonathan Armigel Wade - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The dewpond; and Parting, which sold at auction in April 2011 for GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,660.06).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.125,00 (€ 1.301,18) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 41%.
