In May 2007 Christies in Paris held the auction Un Certain Regard sur la Photographie, which included the work Self-portrait with Andy, circa 1973 tiré du film 'The life of Andy Warhol' by Jonas Mekas. The auction ended at the price of EUR 1,800.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 1,500.00 – 1,800.00. Other works by Jonas Mekas have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2007 the work Cassis Summer, 1966 tiré du film 'Notes for Jerome No. 48' was auctioned for EUR 2,640.00.

Im Mai 2007 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Un Certain Regard sur la Photographie durch, in der auch die Arbeit Self-portrait with Andy, circa 1973 tiré du film 'The life of Andy Warhol' von Jonas Mekas zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 1.800,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 1.800,00. Andere Arbeiten von Jonas Mekas konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2007 die Arbeit Cassis Summer, 1966 tiré du film 'Notes for Jerome No. 48' für EUR 2.640,00 versteigert.
