Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Paul Klee Aztec Artefact by Jon Rafman for USD 1,750.00 (€ 1,537.92). This price was achieved in the auction Handle With Care at Phillips in an online auction and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jon Rafman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work New Age Demanded (Swerveman Silver) in February 2018 with an auction result of USD 50,000.00 (€ 40,946.69).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Paul Klee Aztec Artefact von Jon Rafman für USD 1.750,00 (€ 1.537,92) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Handle With Care bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jon Rafman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit New Age Demanded (Swerveman Silver) im Februar 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 40.946,69).
