The work We Will Always Be Dreamers On The Other Side Of The Moon by Jon Jaylo was worth HKD 275,000.00 (€ 27,271.33) to a buyer in May 2013. This price was achieved in the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) at Christies in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 70,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Jon Jaylo; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Bright Days Are Upon Us sold at auction in October 2012 with the realized price of HKD 500,000.00 (€ 49,776.20).
