Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of AUD 17,625.00 (€ 10,231.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 16,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by John Young have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Rocque, Jersey in November 2010 with an auction result of GBP 34,850.00 (€ 41,645.70).
