Auction result well in line with expectations
The work In the Roman Campagna by John 'Warwick' Smith was auctioned at Christies in London in March last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,024.00 (€ 3,585.29) could thus just exceed the lower estimate.
