Safra - Selling Without Reserve auction, the work Beddgelert Bridge, North Wales changed hands for USD 5,670.00 (€ 5,321.94) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by John Varley have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Plains of Marathon in January 2003 with an auction result of GBP 19,120.00 (€ 29,284.45).
