A top price for John Sargent Noble - as previously expected
The work Watching the stalkers by John Sargent Noble was sold in the Victorian & British Impressionist Art auction at Christies in London in May 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 100,000.00 – 150,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 109,250.00 (€ 136,120.69) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Watching the stalkers is the most expensive artwork by John Sargent Noble that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Watching the stalkers von John Sargent Noble wurde im Mai 2012 in der Auktion Victorian & British Impressionist Art bei Christies in London versteigert.
