In June 2011 Christies in London held the auction Victorian & British Impressionist Art, which included the work Church Parade, Hyde Park by John Sanderson Wells. The price achieved of GBP 37,250.00 (€ 41,210.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Church Parade, Hyde Park is the most expensive artwork by John Sanderson Wells that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Juni 2011 führte Christies in London die Auktion Victorian & British Impressionist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Church Parade, Hyde Park von John Sanderson Wells zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 37.250,00 (€ 41.210,20) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Church Parade, Hyde Park das teuerste Kunstwerk von John Sanderson Wells, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
