Auction result well in line with expectations
The work At The Polo Match, Ranelagh by John Sanderson Wells was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2006. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,160.00 (€ 3,207.67) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Sanderson Wells achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Church Parade, Hyde Park in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 37,250.00 (€ 41,210.20).

Die Arbeit At The Polo Match, Ranelagh von John Sanderson Wells kam im November 2006 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 2.160,00 (€ 3.207,67) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
