A top price for John Salt - as previously expected
The work "School bus and red pick-up" by John Salt was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2012. The result of SEK 1,000,000.00 (€ 115,372.79) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 1,000,000.00 – 1,500,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, "School bus and red pick-up" is the most expensive artwork by John Salt that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit "School bus and red pick-up" von John Salt kam im November 2012 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 1.000.000,00 (€ 115.372,79) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 1.000.000,00 – 1.500.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist "School bus and red pick-up" das teuerste Kunstwerk von John Salt, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
