Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Casting by John Minton was auctioned at Bonhams in London in July 2021. The price achieved of GBP 2,295.00 (€ 2,691.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Minton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jamaican Village in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 293,000.00 (€ 345,711.19).
