This artwork by John Koch achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in New York in September this year. In the American Art | Bonhams Skinner auction, the work Untitled (Still Life with Fish and Lobster) sold for USD 10,240.00 (€ 9,674.98) - well above the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Koch achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Siesta in July 2020 with an auction result of USD 596,075.00 (€ 506,263.80).
