Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2020 Bonhams in New York held the auction American Art, which included the work Male Model Seated with Shirt by John Koch. Here, the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 3,187.50 (€ 2,667.81). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Koch achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Siesta in July 2020 with an auction result of USD 596,075.00 (€ 506,263.80).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2020 führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Male Model Seated with Shirt von John Koch zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 3.187,50 (€ 2.667,81) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von John Koch erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Siesta im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 596.075,00 (€ 506.263,80).
