Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2007 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture, which included the work Evening Glow by John Joseph Enneking. The »bidding war« ended at USD 73,000.00 (€ 50,456.18), 22% above the upper estimate. Other works by John Joseph Enneking have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 76,375.00 (€ 87,847.94) in November 2000 for the work Coaster's Retreat.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2007 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit Evening Glow von John Joseph Enneking zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 73.000,00 (€ 50.456,18) und damit 22% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von John Joseph Enneking haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 76.375,00 (€ 87.847,94) im November 2000 für die Arbeit Coaster's Retreat beobachtet.
