In the American Art | Bonhams Skinner auction, the work Early Autumn, Neponset River, Hyde Park, alternately titled The Summer House on the Neponset River sold for USD 16,575.00 (€ 15,265.24) - well above the upper estimate of USD 9,000.00. Admittedly, works by John Joseph Enneking have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Coaster's Retreat in November 2000 with an auction result of USD 76,375.00 (€ 87,847.94).
