Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Climbing the Apple Tree by John Joseph Enneking was auctioned at Christies in New York in November 2017. It achieved a price of USD 8,125.00 (€ 6,828.88), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Joseph Enneking achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Coaster's Retreat in November 2000 with an auction result of USD 76,375.00 (€ 87,847.94).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Climbing the Apple Tree von John Joseph Enneking kam im November 2017 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 6.828,88) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 16%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von John Joseph Enneking erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Coaster's Retreat im November 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 76.375,00 (€ 87.847,94).
